The Preston Series Chess set. A full club-sized Chess set, it features a 4.4″ King with a 2.0″ diameter base. The Chess pieces are hand carved by master craftsman and crafted out of high-grade woods. The Chess pieces are heavily weighted with billiard cloth base pads and a beautiful finish.

The Preston Series express a perfect combination of beauty and functionality. It has been designed to withstand the rigors of practical play while maintaining a beauty. The design, quality and craftsmanship of this set is unmatched by any set of Chessmen in its price range. The Chessmen are new, and each set consists of 34 Chessmen, including four Queens.

THE CHESSBOARD
Crafted in Spain, the Staunton Standard Traditional Greenwood / Bird’s Eye Maple Wooden Chessboard – Gloss Finish features Greenwood (dark) and Bird’s Eye Maple (light) squares with a Greenwood frame. This veneered Chessboard is 0.5″ thick and has a gloss finish.

THE CHESSBOX
The Premium Chess Box has been designed by the experts at Staunton to perfectly hold your favorite chessmen, up to a 4.4” king height with additional queens. It features brass quadrant hinges, green billiard cloth lining, and a lock and key with tassel.
